Celebrating the Amazing
TREY CORBETT!
Have you heard the latest BUZZ?! You may be hearing the noise of incoming Richfield High School freshman, Trey Corbett's lawn mower working around town, or perhaps you are hearing the latest hype and rave reviews from the Richfield community about his latest entrepreneurial venture: lawn mowing! Trey Corbett is becoming a familiar face around town, known not just for his lawn mowing skills, but for his reliability and dedication to his work and to his clients.
Trey is a dedicated student-athlete who found himself inspired to find a way to start earning his way toward buying an e-bike. As an umpire for Richfield Baseball, Trey knows the value of hard work, but quickly realized that his umpiring gigs were not happening often enough to fund his dream bike. With that, Trey decided to quite literally take matters into his own hands by knocking on doors around town to secure lawn-mowing jobs. His drive and commitment paid off, as Trey now manages a growing list of recurring clients and has developed a drive, passion, and excitement for entrepreneurship. He has also earned the admiration of the community members who have used his services too. The community has great things to say! One client even shared with Trey's dad, "He even came back after practice to mulch the extra grass because it was pretty long! You've raised a very respectful, kind, and hardworking kid." This incredible young man exemplifies the true spirit of hard work, determination, and dedication, and it does not go unnoticed.
Trey is not only carving a path with his business, but in academics, athletics, and at home too. He still maintains his fulfillment of daily chores, dog walking duties, and rigorous sports commitments. Trey plays traveling basketball in the winter and traveling baseball in the summer. His team won the state championship in basketball and his team won the Edina Baseball Classic as well, both pictured above! During the school year, you can catch him at the gym at 5:30 am most days, getting in a workout and getting shots up before school. He has a great group of friends across all of his teams and at his school. At school, his commitment runs just as deep, as he is on the honor roll, took high school math while in middle school, and is fluent in Spanish, thanks to his education at Richfield Dual Language School. His commitment to personal growth, serving the community, and overall excellence is certainly something to be proud of.
As Trey continues to carve his path in entrepreneurship, academics, athletics, and being an overall incredible guy, he remains an example of ambition, and community spirit that makes Richfield and our larger Macaroni KID community proud. His story inspires us all to pursue our passions with dedication and to embrace every opportunity for growth and accomplishment.
